I produced this clip to show all these beautiful things in one short emotive clip. Being shot entirely on drone has allowed me to get creative with the style of shots I used and the way they were used. A drone is an incredible piece of technology, and when used correctly the results are amazing. I’ve found with lots of practice, that when controlling the drone for filming cinematic-style shots you need to imagine that you are balancing an egg on top of it. If you pan too quick or sudden, or you have varying speeds or jerky actions then the result is poor. When filming with the drone you really need to treat it like a camera on a tripod as it’s those buttery smooth slow shots that are the most appealing and interesting.
